The works assigned to alphadelta constructions concerned the renovation of the central core of the city of Nafpaktos and especially in the part within the city walls, a site of archaeological interest.
The main goal was to promote the area inside the fortress and radically upgrade the whole city’s image, which had been severely degraded by the wide use of the car and the parking conditions by implementing an alternative proposal for the organization of the central core, favoring pedestrians and mild means of transport.
The total area of the remodeled space is of 9,800 sq.m. in which, pavements and sidewalks are being paved, trees are being planted as well as installation of the necessary urban equipment and installation of electric lighting is being done. In addition, movement and reconstruction of wells and grids of the rainwater drainage and sewerage network is being done. Also irrigation equipment of planted areas is being installed as well as expansion, completion and replacement of the water supply network is being done, where necessary, due to age and use of inappropriate materials.
