Alphadelta Constructions undertook from Olympia Odos the surface coating of the road surface of the Thesea tunnel in Kakia Skala with synthetic polymer materials.
This pioneering technique has been successfully applied in the U.S., France, Austria and Germany. The first application in Greece has been carried out by our company.

The application of the coating by the inclusion of quartz aggregates into the mixture increases the lifespan of the asphalt pavement, thus restoring its integrity and increasing it’s grip coefficient. Moreover, the application of the polymer coating in pavements inside tunnels increases the luminosity levels inside them, reduces the energy consumption respuired for lighting and improves the overall diving experience.
The coating increases the amount of solar radiation that is reflected away from the asphalt pavement and extends its lifespan by reducing its ambient temperature.
