On the side of the island of Oinousses that looks upon Chios, above a picturesque beach in a densely planted area, the monastery of the Annunciation is located. The road leading to it, about 3,800 meters long, needed maintenance and improvement works, a task assigned to alphadelta constructions.

Asphalt paving was carried out along the entire length and in parts that showed intense damage, the construction of a substrate and a road base with aggregates was done. As the island of Oinousses does not have a quarry or asphalt mixing unit, the materials as well as the asphalt mix preparation complex were transported by the sea. Then, road signs were placed, metal safety railings at dangerous curves and demarcation lines were drown with reflective paint along the entire length of the new asphalt pavement.
